The Religious Freedom Project is an advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and promoting freedom of speech and religion, especially the separation of Church and State.

The Religious Freedom Project believes in equal rights for all, with a focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights.

Program Areas

Through a broad continuum of community organizing, public engagement, public policy, research, and collaboration programs, the Religious Freedom Project looks to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guaranteed everyone in this country.

Why We Do It

We proudly defend everyone’s right to free expression.

We protect the fringe elements, fighting against the incursion into our rights, and work to stop the erosion of civil liberties before it’s too late.

How We Do It

We work on policy change, as well as hearts and minds. We get out from behind the monitor, and into the field.

We look to influence the court of public opinion, as well as the Court of Law.

We do not receive any government funding. Contributions from individuals pay for the work we do.
