Around MAOS, we like to say, "it's all about production value."

Since last year, my build team (Thomas Wright) has been hard at work developing our Festivus Pole technology. Some of you might not realize, but considerable thought (19 minutes or so) has gone into the design and development of the MAOS Pabst Blue Ribbon Festivus Pole.

To wit:

  1. Environmentally friendly
  2. Compact and portable design for easy shipping
  3. Able to withstand the harsh Florida winter
  4. Stealthy theft deterrence

The pole’s dimensions have been meticulously calculated (within a few inches or so), allowing the final can to lean (adding artsy value).

A recent addition this year, to the Tallahassee erection, will be a stand-alone display stand holding a 12″x12″ sign … a sign that allows us to get across “the right message for the occasion.” A message that captures the gravitas of the situation, that shows the proper respect for Pam Olson, President of the Florida Prayer network.

A message that clearly demonstrates how we feel about having a nativity inside of the Florida State Capital rotunda.
